As a writer, I sometimes get lost in the universe of words. But, in true “Mixed Media” fashion, I want to expand the conversation that happens here to include media of all kinds: visual art, design, music, video. Whatever can be used to tell a story.
So without further ado—and just a dash of self-promotion—I present “Who is Dylan Hicks?”, the video I helped create with the marketing team at Coffee House Press. We wanted to get the word out about musician/author Dylan Hick’s publication party for his new novel “Boarded Windows,” so we hit the streets one Saturday afternoon, and stopped passersby for quick interviews. Oh, and the man with the red sweatband? That’s Hicks himself.
